Trixi Tassels is coming to Belgium to teach not 1 but 2 Masterclasses in Antwerp Dollhouse!
This workshop will cover elements of striptease and musicality – both essential elements of a good burlesque routine. We’ll learn how to pose, tease the audience, use characterisation and how to alluringly remove clothing and utilise them as props once removed from our body. Looking at musicality, we’ll take a theoretical approach to burlesque choreography and act structuring, examining how the music we select will instruct our movement on stage to ensure we are portraying a visual interpretation of the sound. We will create our own mini basic striptease choreographies using 4 short songs of 30s each to illustrate the basic striptease and musicality principals that we have just studied.
Bring gloves, stockings, a suspender belt and corset if you have one.
